I cough everyday but it did get less than it was but it's like i've got mucus in my lungs and can't stop coughing.
Sometimes it comes on all at once and sometimes it's a deep cough, anyone have this?
How do you think i can stop it?
Thanks
Beth

Hi Beth
Today i have been 100% raw for 50days and i am going through a detox.
I ve had a real bad throat then running nose and now a cough but not all the time, but when i do cough, i cough and cough, i am drinking loads of water and lemon and raw honey drinks to break-up the mucus and i iam only eating small mono meals mainly watermelon to remove the toxins and give my system all the help it can to clear the rubbish out.
I hope this helps and you will be feeling better soon, but remember you must allow the mucus to come from there a cough is a natural response of the body to clear.:)

I've been eating honey and yes my cough is much better:)
I'm so glad you came to my aid, thank you so much.
Everything you said made so much sense and i'm glad you took the time to share it with me.

I had a rotten head cold this week with all the symptoms you would expect. I know it was virus though, because my husband had it the week before and my daughter the week before that. I was feeling a little too smug about never getting sick when it hit me.
Anyway, about the congestion and sore throat... I ate a lot of spoonfuls of buckwheat honey and manuka honey. The manuka really helps with the throat irritations. For breaking up the congestion I ate a salad loaded with spring onion and garlic. I also juiced 5-6 radishes along with tomato, cucumber, and lime. It really got the congestion moving on out. I don't know if that would help with mucus in the lungs, but it might be worth a try.
I hope you are feeling better now.
