Hi all!
I was raw for a few months back in 2005 all for the wrong reasons. I thought it would be the perfect way to control my food addiction and lose weight. Neither worked as planned! I uncooked and binged on all of the desserts, ate a ton of nuts and dried fruit and probably gained weight.
Lately, my body has been asking for more raw...mostly fruit and salad, so I've been incorporating it into my SAD diet. The jump back into raw feels right as my body hasn't been so happy on SAD. I do have weight to lose, yet my motivation is to feel better, have more energy and a clearer mind! My intention is to keep my life around the food simple and easy.
I loved this forum back in 2005 and I'm excited to be back! :D
