Hello Rawbies!
I chose the user name "Caris" because it means "grace" in ancient Greek, and I feel I am here through the grace of God, and that this raw journey will expand my abilities to share grace with others! I was 100% raw for about 2 years, but went back to cooked food a year and a half ago...and gained 100 pounds! Yikes! So now I am excited to get back to eating raw--I know it is the only way I can use food in a healthy way, and this forum has reminded me how much I've been missing by eating cooked foods! I can't wait to get back on track!
I had planned to start eating raw next week, but after reading through the posts on the monthly challenge, I got all pumped up and will start tomorrow. I wish I had jumped back in a year ago!
Oodles of thanks to all of you who post here; I love that we all get to share the joys of raw food with one another. I am looking forward to supporting everyone as much as I can; it's really an amazing community.
Now I'm off to the store to stock up!! Woohoo!!
