Apparently, everyone has a different body frame. You can either have a small, medium or large body frame. You can find out yours by measuring your wrist. I found out that I am a large body frame and my weight should stay in the 152-167.2lbs range. So apparently my goal weight is 10lbs underweight, so I guess I'm going to aim for 150lbs... I also found out that I'm only 12.8lbs overweight, I thought that it was around 20lbs, so I am pleased.
Calculate your body frame here (http://www.dietandfitnesstoday.com/bodyFrame.php).
Calculate ideal weight including body frame here (http://www.healthcentral.com/diet-exercise/ideal-body-weight-3146-143.html).
I think that it's important to know your body frame so that you can aim for a healthy weight.

okay, I measured my ideal weight according to the website you provided and it says my ideal weight is 132- 145 lbs.
That is so inaccurate
I am extremely active. I've got good muscle tone, and if I was even the low 132 of that assessment, I would feel quite over weight.
My body sits VERY comfortably at 115 lbs. If I go above 120lbs I feel very heavy, I LOOK heavy and I am not happy with my figure.
trust your body, not a silly website my dear.

50 more lbs... thought it was probably worse, as well. Of course that's towards the upper end, but I haven't been at the low end since I was in high school - don't think that's going to happen again anytime soon... and if it does I don't think I'd like the look of what's "hangin'"

personally ... I have always wondered what my 'body frame' is.
I do not think completely RELYING on what the website says as gospel is necessarily the point. I did find it very interesting to do the measuring etc.
I think we will all listen to our bodies and settle where we feel healthiest!
I enjoyed doing the little test because I am so short - people have (over the years) been so surprised that when i measure my wrist that my fingers dont touch... not even close! So all these years I assumed I was a 'large frame' person...
but according to the measurments.. I'm medium... may not mean much to anyone else... but for me ... I found that very interesting ;)!!

I've calculated this using both the fingers around wrist method and the tape measure method and apparently I'm a small frame (but only just). However I just typed my stats into the website and it tells me my weight is currently at it's ideal.
Bollocks to that! I'm at least 20lbs heavier than I need to be..

the best way to know what you should weight is "how do you feel?"
i'm probably considered overweight but i like being the weight i am. i feel good at this weight. ;) so i'll happily stay here!

Just listen to your body.
That site tells me I am 35 lbs underweight, but my body is filled with more energy, goodness and balance than ever before.
It's like Dr. Seuss says:
"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.” :D
Trust yourself.

Using my wrist (8") measurement I am a large frame and using my elbow breadth (3") I am a medium frame. I am 6'2". Anyone that knows me knows just by looking at me I am a very obvious large frame.
As far as ideal weight it says I should be 200-220 so I am a but above that but no surprise there. I don't put much stock in that though because they never account for things like muscle mass. When I was lifting weights a lot I was about 260 pounds but I had visible abs which meant my BF% was around the 12-15% range. I don't consider that obese. If I was 260 pounds with a 55" gut, that would be obese.

I have a small, delicate frame :)
I always thought my frame was more medium sized, but I was wrong! I'm very small
I'm right in my weight range, although slightly "underweight" at 115-120lbs.
I fluctuate :)

So - I'll have to measure with a better tape when I get home but this says I am a large frame (according to measurements) but my fingers overlap (well the index just touches, the other two overlap) which makes me small/medium....and I'm only 5 feet tall.
I am a bit uncomfortable in my body right now 'cause I hven't been taking care of myself so I think I'll pay the most attention to that. Though it's interesting to figure the math of the human body....according to ?????
Lovin' the Dr. Seuss quote!! - brillant man :D

It says that my ideal weight is between 104.43 and 141.13 pounds
I'm only 5'3" and I felt my healthiest at 180 lbs, when I was a weightlifter (at that point, I was going to the gym 5 days a week, and working out for 45 minutes).

I threw my scale out of the window a long time ago. (I find out what my weight is from the doctor) I go by what raw food does for me and my body. On raw food, my body will naturally be where it wants to be and know what to do.
The results were interesting to whether I don't know if I agree with it or not.....
It's tells me that I'm basically a small frame and 15 to 20 pounds over my ideal wieght which is 96-103 lb. For some reason, I thought going under 100 is unhealthy!! I'm already where I want to be and just want to shape up nicely which I'm doing on P90X right now. You can see my pics after 30 days in the P90X thread. Will be posting my pics soon after 60 days!
I just have to see what raw food thinks is best for my body's weight to be at and that is good enough for me! I read somewhere in Alissa's book about how 100% raw food shed the false body, once it does that, the true body emerges, and builds up on that. That's what I'm going by.
And I agree with Aleesha and Dr. Suess, I don't measure me by the weight of the scale! I would like to see how much love by the lb. I have in my heart though!! :D That would be totally awesome, if we could measure how much love we have in out hearts!!
