Funny observation about drinkware...

As I sit here sipping on my watermelon, apple, mint smoothie (delicious by the way), I kinda realized something. It seems that when I have a normal drink, water in my case, I really don't care about what I drink it out of and I usually reach for one of several large plastic cups that I have. However, when I drink a juice or smoothie, it HAS to be in a clear glass. I find that I enjoy looking at these beautiful life improving drinks. I don't know...maybe I'm just weird.

Of course you are. ;) :p I just realized recently I don't enjoy plain water as much as I use to. I was wondering why I had such a hard time drinking it when I use to love it. Then I realized it's because of all the flavorful fruits & other food I eat, that water just pales in comparison. So now I have to flavor my water some to get enough to drink & enjoy it.

I give my water the respect that it deserves and drink it only from pint glasses.

I think it's a celebration of sorts! I also enjoy feasting on the 'eye candy' of the vibrant colors of RAW smoothies and juices!

personally - I try to drink out of glass most of the time - water, smoothie or juice. I could be imagining it but I swear plastic tastes funny!! :eek:

course before I went RAW... it never bothered me before - LOL!! :D
