Starfire, I am so happy to see you back at RFT. You and I joined about the same time a few years ago, and I just started back up recently too. I must say that you have inspired me on so many levels including halting my life in order to experience Hawaii for a while. My trip was ill fated but still I got to go on the journey that I have always dreamed of. I have looked for you over the last few days and now here you are just like magic. Life is funny. Thanks for coming back, your energy is unmistakable.

yes... now I've carried the 'show on the road'!
I went to a dinner party at a friends house - and was making green smoothies for everyone to try... lets just say - it's REALLY a good idea to make sure you PUT THE TOP on before turning on a VITAMIX.... sigh... I think my gf's ceiling is still green! (hey - I'm short - I couldn't reach it to clean it!) :D

I'll have to dig through some of my recipes and post them for you!

Welcome back, Starfire! I'm really glad that you decided to join us again. You have been such an inspiration to so many people here at RFT. I was fortunate to visit your beautiful state four times when my daughter was a flight attendant (free travel!:) and I was a travel agent (great agent's rates on hotels!) My favorite time was a 7-day cruise to all the islands and a helicopter ride over Mount Kiluwea. I also loved biking down Haleakala and snorkeling in Hanuama Bay. We also hiked up Diamond Head and did a tour of Pearl Harbor, which was very moving. Honolulu and Waikiki Beach are my favorite place in the world - I could spend my life sitting on that beach! My hubby tried surfing, but didn't do very well!:) We loved just sitting on the balcony looking out at Waikiki Beach, watching the surfers, listening to the amazing Hawaiian music that you hear everywhere and smelling the incredible flowers - the smell of flowers greets you as soon as you get off the plane! We have been to many places in this world, but there is no place like Hawaii! I just wish it weren't so darn far from Buffalo!!!:rolleyes: Anyway, welcome back to RFT....I hope you'll stay with us from now on and continue encouraging and inspiring all of us! We have missed you. It's just not the same without you!
