I have had horrible allergies since I was in my teens. I am now in my 50's.
I normally take a Claritan D every day year round and sometimes use Nasal Chrom.
Three months ago I started juicing, increased the fruits and veges in my diet, and reduced the meats and sweets. To my surprise my allergies have not been as bad..... I am learning that your diet does influence allergies. I didn't have a clue until now!
I am now off Claritan D for the first time in years! I still take one regular Claritan each day. I am looking for foods to add to juicing that will help me with my allergies and possibly get completely off allergy medicines. Can anyone give me some suggestions? I would really appreciate the help.
Googling I have heard the term "anti-inflammtory" diets and heard a bit about Kale, Collard greens, and ginger root. Has anyone had any luck with these?
