I have had horrible allergies since I was in my teens. I am now in my 50's.
I normally take a Claritan D every day year round and sometimes use Nasal Chrom.

Three months ago I started juicing, increased the fruits and veges in my diet, and reduced the meats and sweets. To my surprise my allergies have not been as bad..... I am learning that your diet does influence allergies. I didn't have a clue until now!

I am now off Claritan D for the first time in years! I still take one regular Claritan each day. I am looking for foods to add to juicing that will help me with my allergies and possibly get completely off allergy medicines. Can anyone give me some suggestions? I would really appreciate the help.

Googling I have heard the term "anti-inflammtory" diets and heard a bit about Kale, Collard greens, and ginger root. Has anyone had any luck with these?

I've never had allergies, but I can tell you that I never feel better than when one of my smoothies has kale in it.

Have you taken grains and gluten out of your diet yet?

I have used and had good success with Quercitin. It is powerful for overturning allergies.

Anti inflammatory foods are awesome. Tumeric is great as well as berries, spinach, cacao within reason, hempseeds, ginger, cinnamon and ground flaxseeds.

Hi BlackIrish,
I have suffered with hayfever since the mid 1980's. I used psudephrine to deal with the symptoms and would have to take several thoughout the day. That added up to a lot of little red pills over the course of a summer. Then I discovered MSM. I take one in the morning and I'm good for the entire day. It even helped with my allergy to cats! Wonderful stuff.
