I was playing around in the kitchen today and made a great concoction! I got about 10 dates, seeded them and tore them into quarter pieces. I have the machine called "ultimate chopper" and put them in there with some water. It turned the dates into a chunky paste stuff. At first the water over flowed as I turned it on, but it was the perfect amount. Then I added two medium (but skinny) bananas and maybe a tablespoon of raw honey to it. I whizzed it on past the point of where I thouht it was done. By doing this it turned it frothy and tasted JUST like (if i remember correctly) moose/whipped icing. It dind't have an overpowering banana taste at all...it's as if it dissappeared. It also wasn't too sweet on each bite, but after a while you lose desire for it. It's VERY satisfying and yummy :) Makes you feel like you're cheating when you're not! You should try it. I don't think it'll work well in a normal blender, but a food processor will work as well I think.
