I've heard that coconut oil is like magic. :)

Make sure you have plenty of fats as well. Avocado and walnuts are wonderful sources. Plus, water water water!

coconut oil will not make your skin more oily.

When you combine the coconut with the oil of your skin, and wash it off, the oil of your skin goes with it.

i promise it will totally balance you out.

it did for me.

it has worked wonders for a girl who used to have combination skin and lots of acne (now my skin is almost perfect!)

Coconut oil I swear by. Sulphur rich foods as well. MSM is great for skin.

anything with silica

**Foods rich in silica

Tomatoes
Radish
Nettles
Romaine lettuce
Hemp leaves

Hey

i researched that on google and some people put it on and leave it on overnight and some people leave it on and wash it off after a little while, some people wsh with soap and then apply the oil

What i did was wash my face and i slept with it on last night and my face is soooooo smoothe

I dont know what others did though hope this helps a little bit :p:confused::rolleyes:

I know a lot of people swear by coconut oil - but I have VERY sensitive skin and can't use it. I have been using cold pressed organic jojoba oil now since February and my skin has never looked or felt better! Even some of my oldest acne scars are diminishing and my skin tone is evening out.

I use it once a day in the shower after my pores have opened - rub it in and rinse off with water....pat face dry with towel when I get out. (did the same way with coconut oil when I trying that out)

However (sidenote) coconut oil is fabulous for healing bug bites!! :)

shea butter helps me out a lot, and doesn't cause me to break out. it also absorbs rather quickly so you can (if you want) put makeup over it after about 10 minutes.

so far as clearing up your skin (if you're looking to do that too) i agree with Katie P .. eating all fruits clears mine if i experience a break out (often around that time of the month :p )
