soft bannanas...

[How?]

the last 2 lots of bannanas I've gotten are kind of soft and a little mushyish by the time they ripen. Its about 20 x 2 lots so its not just bruises or anything.
Anyone know why this would happen and they were bought a week or so apart.
Also, out of curiousity, how many bannanas do most people eat? I normally eat 4 or 5 a day which might be a little too much in some schools of thought.

Don't really understand your question about bruises on bananas...?

I usually eat anywhere between 2.5-5 bananas a day, sometimes more sometimes less, but I almost always have a smoothie everyday that has 2.5 nan's in them.

P.S.....some schools of thought are just that...thought. Your body tells you what it wants so you don't really have to think about anything. I have days where all I eat are grapes. That's not too much for me cause my body wants them ;)
