I've been a raw vegan off an on for 6 months and I still have acne..The only times that I went off raw were at family parties for a day or two and eat traditional persian food. Then went back to 100% raw vegan.
I don't eat gourmet raw food, I just eat a bunch of fruit and asparugus sticks. And lots of raw nuts.
I'm thinking about going back to eating cooked food because I had less acne then. :(
I've never been able to eat meat, junk food, or fast food since it always makes me throw up so before I went raw I was somewhat healthy.
Is there anything any of you raw foodists would suggest to help my problem.......? With acne?
Thanks~
p.s. i tried the water fast and my acne came back....worse

See if drinking coconut water helps. My husband's skin improved tremendously.

Sounds like, based on your post...
a) you need GREENS, girlie... a bunch of fruit, asparagus sticks and nuts is great but you're missing some foods groups, and therefore a wide spectrum of minerals... start drinking GREEN JUICES and GREEN SMOOTHIES everyday. Both of these are known acne-cleansers...
b) Coconut water IS a great addition to any diet because of the pureness of the water and how our bodies assimilate it on a cellular level, however like Revvell said it's also GREAT for skin!!! If you can't get the fresh young Thai Coconuts, look at your local health store and see if they carry Body Ecology Coconut Water - it's 100% Raw.
P.S. I'm nearly 8 months 100% raw vegan over here and since moving to Los Angeles, my skin has gone crazy... LOTS of breakouts on my neck and sides of my face. I look like a teenager again (and I'm 25 ;) ) which is not fun... I've started including Coconut Water, Coconut Oil (a teaspoon full daily, just chowing it down as a snack), and Green Juices and my skin's getting softer, if still not quite clear.
I predict it will be another few months but by the end of my 1-year 100% Raw Challenge, I will have stable, clear skin... just like my hormones are now balancing out. Persistence is key. Patience with your body is ALSO key. So many keys. :D
Just remember: skin health is reliant on MANY factors... as is all other aspects of health.
ENVIRONMENT is huge... where do you live? A City? A country farm? The differences in the chemicals you're exposed to in a City environ versus a country, clean-air environ are HUGE... and you will have more noticeable detox symptoms in a City, because your Body (primarily your skin, which is your largest organ) will be trying to rid the chemicals/toxins CONSTANTLY.
LIFESTYLE is huge... are you under a lot of stress? Stress will prolong stages of detox, and stress will tax your body's system whether you're 100% Raw or not.

Thanks for the tips! And I love young coconut water. I wish I could afford a coconut a day though lol.
I'll try getting as much greens as possible.
And I live in a city, but theres not much pollution I don't think. Theres trees everywhere and the air is so fresh. Theres no trash anywhere, everything is just perfectly clean in my neighborhood I love it... and I'm not stressed.
I have heard about urine thereapy and that urine clears your skin, tightens pores, makes it glow so i will try this! It sounds weird but loads of peple say it works
