Hello from Perth, Australia!!

My name is Heather and I have been raw for 6 days now :p

I first heard about 'rawness' when I went down to Samudra, a place down on the beach in Western Australia that serves up great raw foods and bevvies, teaches yoga and does surfing retreats. It's amazing!

That's where I got my first book on raw emotions which really captured me and got me thinking about it. Now, a couple of months later, I got Alissa's LOLF book and am ready to try some recipes!

I'm from Melbourne, I've heard about the place in Samudra and hope to get there one day.

Here in Melb we have two places that serve raw foods, and I'm sure in another 6 months or so another couple will jump on board.

If you want any help with Aust brands of raw stuff let me know, also, you might find at first that some of the names for vegetable confuse you. Us oldie southern hemisphere people will help you out. <3
