ok kids... this is the home stretch
sipping a blueberry, watermelon, banana, green smoothie...
Cilantro soup :)
Pizza for dinner (of course its raw!)

B: green smoothie (spinach, banana, beet puree, blueberries, orange juice)
Lunch will be sprouted lentil salad with 1/2 an avocado
Dinner will be either more salad or a fruit salad.
I'll snack on apples and flax chips through the day.

Salad with olives, carrots, romaine lettuce, cucumbers, with a tahina dressing.

Here I am! My first truly officially official first day of 100% raw! Today is beautiful! Though I desperately need a nap after staying up till 1:30AM reading Alissa's book :)
Today I have had:
Breakfast smoothie (two oranges, three-four strawberries, banana, baby spinach)
Alissa's fettuccine alfredo
Some baby carrots
Planning on a light-ish salad for dinner later with some of Alissa's dressing. I was going to make a dessert from LoLF for later but I'm seriously stuffed from the fettuccine, the raisins are totally hitting my sweet tooth, and otherwise I'm just thirsty (so water water water!). I'll likely try to make the date nut torte tomorrow since I'm really excited to find out what dates taste like :D.

I had a headache all day.. yesterday I was eating not raw green olives and capers.. I think maybe it could be from that?
L: 2 bananas
D: Went to a family dinner, and brought my favorite salad for the moment, broccoli with pumpkin seed dressing. They also made a nice tomato and green salad. I brought my first raw chocolate cake.. it was a big success, and they even wanted the recipe. I'm sorry I couldn't take a picture.. it looked sooo delicious.

Woke up early and went for a 40 minute walk with 30 second intervals full speed runs..
B-apple, strawberry porridge with 2 tbsp hemp hearts and cinnamon..my new favosite breakfast
L-Chop salad with summer sauce. Mango and kiwi.
S-almonds, prunes, banana
Mowed our yard, 1/2 acre with a walk behind mower..whooped me in teh 96 degree heat..
D- almost a whole watermelon..tasted so good after that sweaty yard work..sprinkled some salt on it too.

So I wound up being so full from the raw-accine alfredo I ate for lunch that all I had was an apple for dinner, and I'm feeling pretty full still! Actually, despite eating all raw, I'm feeling kind of crappy now. My stomach feels a bit bloated, keeps rumbling, I have a headache and I'm sore. It could just be general exhaustion - I highly doubt I could be detoxing after one day . . . but thankfully the next two days I can take it super easy.
Off to bed for some much needed sleep. I'm even turning my alarm off so I can sleep however long my body wants tonight!

I decided to have another green smoothie for lunch. Instead of the beet puree, I used the beet greens. It was delicious.
For dinner I will still have my sprouted lentil salad with avocado.
Gossy, I start detoxing after only one day. I went days, sometimes weeks without any raw foods, and once they hit my system, it started to clean itself out.
