I think I'm on day 13... Maybe 14? Gosh can't even keep track without looking back at past threads. Regardless, I'm wondering why I didn't begin this earlier! Although everything happens in its own due time I suppose.

So I can tell I'm thinner than when I started. At the very least I'm less puffy. But I still haven't weighed myself; but I may do so on Monday... Purely for scientific reasons :) After that though, I promise (Katie) that I'll get rid of it and avoid it like the plague until I'm at the doctor or something =)

Just had some glorious blackberries. Plan to have 2x green smoothies today and a big salad later with mango, corn, and cucumber.

I am so content eating this way I almost can't believe it. Like its too good to be true.

Much love to you all today!

+1!! You took the words right out of my mouth...

B-green/red smoothie=1 banana, kale by the large handful, and strawberries (maybe 1/2 lbs)
S-banana and strawberry mixed together..=pie filling, I am making the strawberry pie in LoLF's, so leftovers did suffice..

We have a dear little girl (Madi, 8) to visit today..her last few days on our beautiful earth..so today will be a hard day for all of us..She has a brainstem tumor and has been battling hard since her 8th birthday in november last year...no child should have to endure what she has been through...if you feel in your heart, please think of Madi today...

Lots of watermelon, a banana, and a quart of green smoothie so far today. I made a salad of tomato, cuke, onion, celery, and yellow pepper, and added a simple tahini/lemon juice dressing with fresh dill. Looks yummy. The gazpacho I made yesterday is out of this world, delicious! So, some of each later today for my dinner.

I've been trying many new recipes and enjoying them all so much. It seems the longer I actually eat this way, the less I think about SAD food. There are a lot of very satisfying things to eat that don't require cooking.

Basenjimamma, I'm very sorry to hear about Madi.... I honestly cannot imagine what you all must be going through.

LOL! Avoid it like the plague!!!!! It's soooo freeing once you break the habit. I mean really, that's all it is is a habit!
