View Full Version : Omega 8006 Juicer & Greeeeens
Hello people,
Anyone have an Omega 8006? How well does it perform on greens, ALL types of greeeeens? Herbs, plants, fibrous, thin, dry, wild edibles, pine needles... Currently choosing a juicer, hard decision to make! Thanks for your comments, well appreciated! Los.

Hi Los -
I have the 8006 and find it does kale, collards, nettles, dandelions, purslane, etc, beautifully....

Ditto - I juice all my greens in the 8006 - it is not fast, but the juice is amazing and the pulp extremely dry.

I'm going to third what has already been said. I think it does an amazing job. I love looking at how much stuff I put in compared to how much pulp comes out. It's always dry and you really can tell you're getting all the juice out.

Will the Omega 8006 do wheatgrass? Also, I am interested in doing banana whips (whole frozen banana "ice cream"). Am I asking too much for one machine to do it all? I know you can do different things depending on whether or not you use a screen. I have a Blendtec (and it is my best kitchen friend) and am trying to decide if I should also invest in a juicer. Thank you for all comments and help ♥

The 8006 works great for both of these! Go for it!

Fantastic to hear. I am pretty much set on the Omega 8004 and I am glad to see more confirmation that this is the right juicer for me. Very excited. I am using the blend and strain method of juicing now and while it works really well, it is not the cleanest way to juice. I also like the fact that the Omega can do more than just juice. In case anyone reading this thread is not familiar, go to youtube and check out rawfoods channel. John Kohler sells juicers from his website but he does lots of reviews and comparisons and just has great videos. He also has a gardening channel and a raw foods channel on youtube as well.
