S, do you stop when you get to the seeds? I have a Pampered Chef jullienne tool and I LOVE it, but it seems like I don't get a lot of strips cut before I get to the seeds. Then, I pop it into the compost pile. BUT when I cut a zucchini in slices I NEVER see/taste a seed... Am I doing something wrong?? I want pasta tonight so TIA for your help!! :)
You don't "have to" stop when you get to the seeds, unless it starts getting too mushy. Otherwise, just julienne and then give it a bit of a turn, julienne, turn and keep on going.
And for those that don't have the neat julienne peeler - you can peel strips of zucchini with a veggie peeler, stacking the strips neatly. Then take a knife and cut matchsticks through the stack. Easy peasy! *Ü*
