I stopped raw when I had hyperemesis when pregnant, and could hardly eat anything. The only thing I could keep down was mashed potatoes.

The baby is now big, and he self-weaned. I want to go back raw and have had a hard time.

I used to like the board where we typed everyday what we ate and encouraged each other.

Anyone want to help keep me accountable? My big downfalls are picking on my kids leftovers, eating food while I cook, and my addiction to carbs.

I was totally raw 100 percent for 7 months prior to the pregnancy, and lost 75 lbs. I need to do it again, for my health, and for my happiness, and my kids.

HInts or help?:

Thanks!

Hi there!

Why not jump into the 30-day challenge? No need to wait 'til the first of the month!

I find life is so much easier when I am accountable this way.

Hope to see you there!

I agree with rev. I know that when I was fasting, the fasting thread really helped keep me in line.

Prepare yourself some raw snacks to be picking at when your kids finish up...just throw theirs away. ;) Also, have a great raw treat BEFORE you begin cooking for everyone else. This is how I get through that...along with having my dinner already prepared so I can sit down with them. Hummmmm...lets see...what else...
Take the kiddies out to the park and do some walking with the stroller. Getting out of the house in the nice weather clears your mind and keeps you feeling strong and healthy!
You can do it! :D

Yep, rev's suggestion of getting in on the 30 day challenge is a great one, why not prepare for the next one, it's not long now!

Do you have lots of freezer space? When you get a sliver of time make up stuff and freeze it so when you don't have time you can get a treat from the freezer.

And take it easy on yoursel! The last thing you need right now is to pile on the self guilt about your 'failures', no such thing!

Also, get your blender out and blend blend blend, if you have one thing that's raw in the day, make it a green smoothie. :)

Yep, green smoothies work always, they are my silver-bullet, fast to make, perfect in taste and quickly absorbed by the body, that all those cravings are shutting down.
