Hi all,
I started my raw food challenge on May 9th. I am very tired now a days always sleepy wondering what is wrong with me. I have some skin breakouts here and there.
Breakfast
Smoothie with Spinach, banana, strawberry, blackberry, chia and maca
Half a cucumber
Lunch
Cilantro soup with half cucumber
Snack
Sprouted walnut
peach
orange
raw flax cracker
Dinner
Papaya- salad.

Hi Sati -
Yesterday was my day 9 and I felt the same way... However, today I feel much better! So perhaps you just need to tough it out another few days while you continue to detox... Sounds like you're eating a lot of super meals... But I know that personally I need lots of sleep during the main detox (and still do) that I wasn't getting at first. I slept a full 7.5 hours last night and today feel pretty wonderul...
I also added more veggies into the morning today
this morning had a spinach, kale, banana smoothie and am now eating a very green salad... I think the fruit in the mornings just wasn't working for me for some reason because how I felt yesterday and how I'm feeling today is like night and day.
Maybe there's something about the first week and a half that's more challenging. I think you should hang in there, maybe try adding more greens and less fruit in the AM and definitely SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP and WATER WATER WATER!

Lunch ~ zucchini pasta w/ marinara sauce
Dinner ~ haven't decided yet (maybe miso soup)
Snacks ~ watermelon, blackberries

Brekkie - grapes, strawberries, banana, hemp oil and greens smoothie
Lunch - avocado, some pistachios and a date
Snack - beetroot, carrot, orange, spring greens and lemon juice
Dinner - spinach, banana, date smoothie
Snack - raw choc pie YUM!

Today I was pretty energetic and positive too ~ in spite of mother nature paying her monthly visit ~~ which I figured I'd be open about since this seems to be all ladies this month...
Made some fabulous gazpacho tonight with red pepper, tomato, mango, onion, and cucumber. Wow was it satisfying :)
Switching up my veggies to the morning was really beneficial today; and I absolutely plan to continue doing this that way. It lessens the cravings throughout the day. And here I am at 10:30 PM still energetic and getting things done!
