Hi people, buying a juicer is a hard choice to make since as though all juicers have pros & cons. I've narrowed my search down to two juicers (based on budget and quality) which are the Omega 8006 and the Greenpower Kempo / Hippocrates 1305. I'm living in europe and have found a Hippocrates juicer for around the same price as an Omega from the US or even a little bit cheaper.
Normally with an offer like this I would take up without waiting but I've heard some negative comments about the Kempo juicer regarding foamy wheatgrass, juicy vegetables making the juice go back up the entrance, and a juicer online shop even recommended that I go for the Omega rather than the Kempo even though its cheaper (even saying he doesn't actually like the Kempo).
The Omega has had really good reviews but I'm not sure if its because its got a good price tag or it actually extracts high quality juices. I'm hoping to juice a couple times a day and make all the nut butters etc occasionally. I wouldn't want clean up to put me off making lots of juice and I would like to look forward to making juices u know? Theres a video of someone juicing a carrot with a king arthur pose because the carrots need quite some force to get into the Kempo!
If there is someone out there with one of these juicers or have tried both.. Could u give us a valued opinion/comment? Also I'm wondering if the Omega can juice even really thin leaves like pine needles and fibrous wild plants.
Thanks for your comments, buying a juicer is a big decision! I'm very grateful for your opinions..
