Hi Everyone! Thank you so much, I'm so happy you love the cover! I'm not that old :) - 43 in June.
The new book is mostly recipes, 300 of them! Mostly the Grezzo recipes and some other ones. There is also a glossary of fruits and veggies, how to use, store, buy, etc... You can pre-order now. ill have the links up on my site by next week.

Awesome! Being a raw food newbie I could really use a handy guide with instructions on raw food storing! I keep asking myself "Should I refrigerate this?! Will this keep better if wet?! ACK!" So any instructions on that is super helpful for a newbie like me.

I actually had the same questions when I first started!!! Things like Alissa's Flax Crackers I just put in a baggie or plastic Container for storage. The Pancakes I will refrig or Freeze, but I do not think they will last long!!! My Hubby was just "stealing" two of them!!!! :D

Most things I make up, I will store in the frig or freezer... but really RAW is best eaten FRESHly made. What I do is take Alissa's recipes and make 1/2 of the recipe. If that's still too much, I'll make 1/2 of the 1/2... get the point? ;) If I made Marinara Sauce, I personally only refrig it only a day or so. You'll get the hang of it!!! :D

Have you tried Alissa's 30 day plan as outlined in her 1st book (I ***LOVE*** saying, "first"!!!), Living on Live Food? With those recipes I recommend making all of the dishes the way she says to do it because that food will last you for a couple of days at a time. Just put what's left over in the frig and enjoy it the following day at room temp or dehydrate at 105 to take the chill off...

I'm still waiting for my copy of Alissa's first book to wing its way to me via the lovely USPS. In the meantime I've mostly been making green smoothies and salads. I can't wait to get the book and follow the plan, really get myself detoxed, and have some of the yummy recipes to try out!

I mostly have been having issues so far with knowing how to store properly my fruits, greens and veggies. Especially since I stocked up on quite a few and the crisper got full fast! I got some lettuce keepers for my greens, but I'm never sure which fruits should go in the fridge to extend life, etc. I usually *try* to go by where they were located in the produce section, but I've also been curious about whether or not I can keep things fresher in the fridge, even if they were just out in the open at the store.

Hi Sprouts2go,
Many of the recipes are a little more labor intensive but they are not hard, just different techniques. There are a bunch of pretty easy ones also.
Yes there nut free recipes in the new book. Although a lot of the recipes have the Grezzo cheese or other cheeses in them, but you can also make them without it to create nut free meals.

My first book has a ton of nut free recipes also. Funny, people think it is heavy on the nuts but have you made:

Enchilada
Pizza without the cheese (which is how i always make it now and its better)
pakoras
pasta
Burger buns
Chili
watermelon soup - my favorite!
spinach dip
hummus
roll ups
and more!

I mostly only sell my book on my site.

My book is 30.00. The cost of shipping to Canada is 28.00. I don't have any control over the post office. We ship it the most inexpensive way possible. UPS used to be much more so we ship it through the post office to Canada now. The books weighs 4.5 pounds, so the shipping price is not that of a 1 pound book.
