Can I borrow him? Or maybe trade husbands??? Pleeeze!!!
Wow, I love seeing everyone's gardens. I have had a hard time getting one started with the crazy weather we had this year in New Mexico. If it starts showing signs of life...I will share.

He has been working SO hard! I don't know if we'll get it all planted out this year or not - but we're going to try... *Ü*

my gardens about 25 X 80 . ive been seriously into mulching this plot for 15 years , grass / leafs / straw / wood chips / branches / decomposing logs / bark / wood ashes / lime all go in it at high levels . i sort of see it as growing on a mulch pile . well last fall i got about 12 bails of straw and spread them over entire garden , so in pics taken two months ago my garden looks like a big mulch pile . the pic with my foot in it is to show the huge / cheap packets of seeds i get from willhite in texas , along with my broadcasting method of putting bunch o different seeds in that little bowl then broadcasting them by hand onto the soil you see cleared in pics . prepare to see some very rich soil

I have grape vines, but alas, no veggies - and no time right now to plant.
Anybody wanna make wine?
Wow michigan roman! Your garden soil IS rich! It looks great. That's a lot of work you've been putting in building up the soil for 15 years? whooh!
And revdrcyn ~ Beautiful!! Now - what do you do with your grapes? I ask because we've got grape vines too (they were here when we bought). People always talk about seeded grapes - but I've tried using them in smoothies and such and they're just not good tasting when you blend up the seeds, I've tried... the grapes themselves are scrumptious, but we don't use them except to eat the occasional hand full. You?

Love the pictures of everyone's garden. So beautiful and something so serene about each and every one of them. The beauty of life!! :)
Got a book today on how to grow vegetables in the Rocky Mountains for my future garden somewhere in my near future! :p

This was the one we had designed at our old house, since we've moved we need to rebuild, need to wait another couple weeks here in New England, those late May frosts never fail!

This will be our third harvest (been here 2 years in April) and the grapes are enjoyed by rabbits, turkeys, and other critters.
The grapes taste delicious but the skins are too tough to really enjoy eating. I tried juicing some last year, but the yield is so low - I brought in 2 big handfuls of grapes and got about 2 Tbs of juice!
I am hoping to find someone who wants to make organic wine - we have all the equipment and I am happy to give the grapes away.
Yes - the birds here just love the grapes. Stu has talked about yanking the vines for a couple of years now. I'd like to keep them for the wild life and because I think they're so pretty. But, I'm not the one out there pruning them, which takes him a whole day every spring. They're on our back border the whole width of our yard.
He made wine with them in the past and enjoyed doing it - but didn't have good results..
Your juicing results reminded me of an old Saturday Night Live skit where the waitress made raisin juice - (snicker).
Turkeys, eh? That's incredible! *Ü*
