if not aware of , a good seed co in texas

www.willhiteseed.com

from them for my greens beds i buy :

bloomsdale spinach

ruby red leaf lettuce

romaine

arugula

red russian kale

buy the around $5 per package sizes for massive amounts of
seeds then you can just rake up an area of soil with rigid metal
bow rake then broadcast by hand your seeds onto the area , then
lightly rake into soil / water

* vast majority quit raw foodism in short order , ide thusly suggest
really talking big here at the site like your gonna ace it in order to
trap yourself into having to or sounding like a geek :D

and then everyone would say if you failed , what
happened to pumkingeeky or geekypiggy
so you'd be thinking i dont want that happening
so i gotta do it :D

fc are you speaking of sprouting type seeds like

mung

buckwheat

etc

if so the shipping usually kills a good price so i searched high and low til i found local sellers like bulk food stores or whole foods market

though if buy in big bulk like 10 pounds can get decent deals at www.sunorganicfarms.com , that might not be exact address but thats the place if have to search it EDIT : THATS NOT CORRECT EMAIL ADDRESS , BUT ITS CORRECT COMPANY NAME

recently been into buckwheat sprouts as fast / easy , then make almond milk and pour over buckies with like raisins / bananas / berries / walnuts / etc .
very awesome anytime / quick meal for me

sprouting simple . buckwheats only soaked like 4 hours then rinsed every 8 / 12 hours for 2 days total then ready

mungs i soak 24 then rinse every twelve and at 3 days til like 6 days theyre good

check out www.sproutpeople.com for great info , though their seeds are pricey imo

big / cheap / plastic colanders like bought at dollar stores are my fave sprouting vessels as they allow air to circulate around seeds which prevents mold formation . i found 18" diameter plastic colanders at dollar store which i sprout in , the bigge the better because can then keep seeds thinly spread out and thusly off each other thusly allowing air circulation

Welcome to the raw food lifestyle, and getting your health back. I'm on day21 and I feel sooo much better physically and mentally. My starting weight was 227 and I'm already down to 209, I'm 5'3", and like you I was tired of feeling unhealthy and crappy. Now I have energy and even started doing cardio, I'm up to 35 minutes on the eliptical everyday . This is really a great bunch! Welcome to a healthier you!

Hi Pumpkinpiggy, welcome to RFT!
Just put one foot on front of the other and keep doing it. Keep focusing on how great you feel eating raw and when you find yourself about to eat junk, stop, count to ten and then ask yourself do you really want to put that thing in your body? Do you really want the way you are going to feel after you eat it? There is more to the feelings than just how raw vs junk makes you feel. There is also the feelings that go along with success or failure. And IF you slip up and DO eat junk, please remember that the only way to truly fail is to give up entirely. This website had been so incredibly helpful to me and I know it can be for you too. Chime in here often, keep on trawkin' and before you know it you will be posting 6 months raw before and after photos.
