Hey everyone,

I'm from Canada, have been interested in health and nutrition for about 2 years. Have not really considered raw until about a month ago.

When I was in grd 11/12 started to never have energy, couldn't find out why. Figured out it was my diet mainly. so many some changes tried to start eating healthier. Looking for that next step so now considering cutting out meat/dairy completely. Just had some questions for anyone who might know the answer:

- K I'll add these questions to the discussion form!

I'm looking to workout, I weight about 5'10 160 but my ideal weight would be about 5'10 170.... is this achievable on raw food? And if so what raw foods?

I have a hard time tanning and have reasearched this subject for years, my conclusion is that whiter people have their skin to get more vitamin d since they are less healthy, or see the sun less. So would going raw and getting completely healthy increase my ability to tan??

Sorry for all the long questions ha, but it's good to be here and hope some people can help me out, as I will do the same if I know answers to your questions.

Thanks!

Hi JonnyBoy, welcome to the forum!

I don't have a specific answer for your wanting to gain weight. I can point in what might be a good direction for you to do your own research though. I know you didn't mention bodybuilding, but it would seem to fit as these people want to stay healthy and at the right weight.

Also to quote Revvell, another member here;
"go to YouTube. Look up Zenkahuna. Vegetarian for about 35 years now. Vegan, mostly raw... He introduced me to raw.... 61 years old."

I hope this helps! Sorry, I've got nothin' on the tanning issue.
