I came across an article in response to the current sodium scare.I've attached the link to the article. Just want to hear your input. Should I be worried about sodium instead of salt, like Ocean's Flavor argues?

I don't know what worrying is going to do. So no, don't worry.
Table salt has never been good for anything other than body scrubs and cleaning counters whereas there seems to be benefits to sea salt.
Actually, I rarely use either... but, I don't worry about them. :)

You need sodium in your diet but if you are eating like me the problem is that your sodium levels are too low. Mine always come in below the recommended levels and there is no info out there on how to increase it.

I wasn't aware of a current sodium scare. I haven't heard anything. I eat sea salt.

I think that excessive sodium was always considered a risk factor.
