Is there anyone suffering from eating disorders, like me? I am raw for more than a month by well-established principles and beliefs, but sometimes my anxiety about food destabilizes and trouble me a lot.

I have used other therapies of all kinds during a lot of years, without any result, and now I just want to get my healing for myself. I have the hope that raw food will really help me overcome this serious problem for me after so many years suffering, but I wonder if there are more cases like mine and they have get success with this diet. That would give me much hope and fortitude to be constant and not despair.

Hi MPAP!

First of all, well done for starting to overcome your eating disorder and doing something amazing for your body :) Hang in there, it'll be worth it!

I suffered with anorexia for years - most of my teens - and at 20 I still have a few old issues hanging around, but getting into raw food has let me shift the focus hugely from weight loss to abundant health, and I feel SO much more free than I have in years!

Getting over an eating disorder is a complex process, and you need to look after yourself at every level - tackle the emotional root causes as well as looking after your body - but I think going raw, or even just shifting your focus to living a healthier lifestyle, will allow you to make huge changes :D

Good luck! XxXxX
