My friend just found out he has diebetes. His eating habits are really bad. He actually hates veggies but loves fruit. He is now interested in green smoothies and eating differently to possibly cure. I told him about raw and told him I would get some information for him. Can he incorporate green smoothies into his diet and eat cooked? I mean, do you think that will help or harm him? He isn't willing to do an all raw diet yet. Very stubborn. :( Are there some really good tasting smoothie recipes out there that I can introduce him to that won't hurt his blood sugar? I have some really good recipes for raw smoothies but I don't want to cause him any harm since he will still be eating cooked. Please help. Any information on raw and diebetes will help so I can print it out and give it to him. I guess my main question is, does he have to be 100% raw in order to get the benefits of curing diebetes?

If he doesn't do the 100% raw, he must eliminate all the bad food at the very least. You should buy the movie they made about reversing diabetes with dr. Gabriel Cousens.

The healing process has no comparison when you are on a alive pure diet. He cans try 100% raw food for 40 days and perhaps do a maintenance after this. Many has disliked vegetables to realize that they started to have a craving for them as they went along. His body will crave for the vegetables the more he makes effort to eat them. He cans try to juice at first.

Green smoothie will put him on track.

Fruit/vegetable contain anti-oxidant and so much powerful healing property.

If he does exercise, he will crave for a healthier life style. It is normal that he doesn't crave for vegetables when his body is saturated with toxicity from his food choices.

Something you need to ask yourself what worst making effort to eat your vegetables or letting sickness taking over you?

Hoping your friend feels well soon
