Hey guys,
I just started eating raw foods. In the morning I've been having watermelon and bananas but find I get severe stomach pain for about 10-15 minutes and then it passes. Can anyone explain what this is. Will my body eventually adjust? Is there anything that can help the pain?
Thanks guys,
Chris

eat the watermelon first, wait 30 minutes - then have the banana.
These are 2 fruits that should not be mixed.

I agree...I keep the bananas seperate bc I get an upset stomach if combined. Feel extremely full.

How come watermelon and bananas shouldn't be mixed? I find even if I have bananas by them selves or watermelon alone I still get the pain. It must from the acid right? Will my body adjust to this because maybe it isn't used to a lot of fruit.
Thanks,
Chris

May be you had too much for your dummy but any ways even over eating shouldn't have caused this problem make sure you aren't talking any medication which can be a reason for it. Just keep and eye and see how it goes.

n' what did you just call me?
I'm thinking... the only possible explanation is... you ingested a watermelon seed, its growing in your tummy... and you have 24 hours to live.

Watermelon should always be eaten alone. It is digest so much faster then any fruits. Banana can take 45 minutes to be digest, it is more starchy
You could be sensitive to fruit also. Why don't you experiment. Only eat one type of fruit at the time and see how your body feels. I would look into juicing vegetables and greens at first for you.
