Instant headache from radishes?

Anyone ever experience this?

I'm not a radish eater by any means - but am growing some in my garden for my mother. I harvested 2 today and thought I'd sample them in case a fresh from the garden taste made a difference.

Nope - but it gave me an instant mini headache. I hadn't ever experienced this but don't really eat them.

any insights?

By the way - the radish greens were delish in a gs! If mom doesn't like the greens - this could really work out in a jack sprat kind of way.

I eat a lot of radishes, all different kinds. No problems so far. My little doggie loves radishes, too!

Could it be an allergic reaction? Are you going to try it again and see if you get another headache, or is once enough?

I've never had that problem. They do give me nightmares though.
