I haven't had fat in about a month & I wanna add it back in slowly. Any suggestions on fats that are easier to digest?

I was thinking coconut? Maybe blending that with my smoothies might help

Chia seeds (gel) are probably one of the easiest to digest.

Hi Katie, ultimately it's going to be a story that your body writes for you. slowly experiment with a variety of fats and see if your digestive tract says yippy or no thanks. Everyone's different. I thrive on avocado but it makes my friend nauseous.

Like Stina says, experiment slowly.

But I would personally start with chia seeds and perhaps avocado. Then move on to soaked and blended nuts or seeds(like dressings and such).

I was allergic to coconut until I went raw -- now it is great and I add it to all kinds of things - smoothies, ice kream, soups, jerky, etc.

Chia is a great idea (oops, I did not mean to rhyme!)

A little avocado on a salad would be a good start.

Lots of good suggestions above -- whatever you choose to do, moderation is key in the early stages!

for me nuts are the hardest to digest.. my favorite fats are:
1. Avocado
2. Young Coconut Meat
3. Olives (mmmm)
4. Hemp seeds
