Raw before and during... 11 year old daughter

Okay, for those of you who have been following her thread (http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=58197)... I have her permission to share two photos with you all today.

Here's is her before... it's from Christmas 2009. She went raw on Feb. 1st 2010.

Check out her bone structure. She is sooooo happy with her transformation. She is not 100% raw... but she is very raw.

Wow she is such a bubbly little one with a great before and after testimony. And you know what, it doesn't matter if she isn't 100% raw---it's so awesome that she is learning now what's best for her body. She'll have that foundation and eventually will make that decision when she's ready. It's really awesome that she is getting the tools now and is learning what many of didn't get until adulthood.

at this point dimond, i can't imagine her not sticking with this. she is sooooo conscious now as to what she chooses to eat.

she'll say, "i ate x, y and z yesterday so today i want to focus more on a and b". it's nice seeing her taking control of her choices... rather than allowing want and habit to lead her way.

I agree. I'm so pleased she's still on track. So pleased... even with the warm weather here (BC Canada)... she's not interested in ice cream and cold drinks. She happy with OJ and water!

That's very inspiring to see such a young person having great improvements by going raw. Makes me want to go lecture my mom's school (she's a 5th grade teacher)about going raw. Childhood obesity and pre-mature puberty is so predominant it's sickening. Your daughter looks absolutely beautiful and so joyful. Such good inspiration thank you.

lecturing doesn't achieve anything... it's showing others by example that does. she's raw because of what she's seen it do for my body and life.

and perhaps other kids will do what she's done because of what's she done.

but lecturing... that just shuts people's ears (in my experience).

"Be the change you want to see in the world!!" That quote rings true for me!! It works and very effective that way!! You and your daughter are making some really lovely changes just by being r-awesome examples so that others can see the r-awesomeness of it and helps others go, "Hey, I can do that too, plus it's r-awesome!!!"' :D
Lecture doesn't do anything in my experiences too. Actions speaks louder than words! :) You both are rawkin cool!!! :)
However, I do think that education about health and raw food is a good start in the right direction.
