Husband is really getting into it: This morning I told him I was making him a bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich and he said no name it a Vegetable, lettuce and tomato sandwich. WOW, he was smiling and happy about it.
This is my recipe:
Thinly sliced eggplant spread with maple syrup dehydrated
sliced sweet onions
sliced tomatoes
topped with soaked CousCous mixed with turmeric, finely chopped red and yellow peppers, brewers yeast, onion powder, fresh sage and basil chopped finely. We are just learning to make onion bread and have not gone that far so I am using sprouted bread. I am so glad that my husband likes this as he says there is nothing for him to eat that he likes for breakfast.
Have a GREAT DAY!!!!!

How Marvelous.

Isn't preparing and eating food together a fun thing? I just love that my hubby eats with me, and we often prepare food together, although mostly he's the chef these days, I'm too busy.

And your recipe sounds soooooooo good.

We, of course, would love some pics of your wonderful creations.

Keep us posted on your great recipes.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

We haven't got the equipment to make and send pictures. We will have to also learn how to do it. We see all the wonderful pictures on the forum and we wish we could do the same.
Thanks for the kind words.

Ann,
I've been wondering about couscous. How did you soak it? Is couscous considered unprocessed? I've kept a box in my pantry and have been wondering if I could ever have it again.

Hi Megan,
I looked it up and it says that it's coarsely ground durum wheat made from semolina. It's been steamed and dried. Look I added raw to it so I figured the more raw the better.
I put it in a bowl and added very warm water to it and let it set for about 15 minutes and fluffed it with a fork and it was ready to go. Real easy and very tasteful, once you get it all together and you set to eat it does taste pretty go, according to my husband James. Now he is a picky eater and if he likes it it is a miracle.
