View Full Version : Finally here and needing words of encouragement

:D Well, I have made it to the site. Was raw for 9 weeks straight then went on some cooked items for a week while family was in town. I snapped out of it and am on a 48 hr green smoothie commitment to bring myself back. My nutritionist is all for my raw journey except she wants me to eat omega 3 rich protein once a week since I am anemic and folic acid/b12 deficient at the moment. Also have issues assimulating the folic acid/b12 so she wants me to consider eggs. Any thoughts?

I went raw due to debilitating fatigue, migraines, and candida. Feel better but the progress is slow and the fatigue is still overwhelming. Hypoglycemic as well on days where I don't do big caloric breakfasts??? Love it though, and I can't wait to see who I am after year one...I'm giving this a real shot.

I know that I have found much truth in raw...but, words of encouragement will help bcs I keep reading about how incredible everyone feels and looks after 30 days and my progress (including the weight loss) is proving to be slooowwwww...

We do not discuss the eating of eggs on this forum. We can however assist you to find other raw ways to get your nutritional needs met.

I was sooooo unhealthy and sickly before I went raw. I was also very overweight. My life has improved a million percent (is there such a thing? a million percent???). I'm a walking, living, bliss-filled example of what raw can do.

you find a lot of Omega 3;6 in hempseed or hempseedoil, raw one of course!

I can not help feeling that eating eggs will slow down your progress.

Thanks for the encouragement...my journey seems to be slow but true! I haven't indulged in the eggs...did do fish a few times...can't say it made a huge different. Just trying to get out of my anemia and b12/folic acid deficiency...I am wondering aleesha how long it took you to start feeling amazing???

Immediately!!! I fasted and felt amazing... ate again and felt like crap. Fasted again and discovered raw... never looked back and never will. :)
