I was watching some recipe videos on youtube and noted that most of them included salt but not pepper, so I was just wondering if pepper is raw or not? Like I said probably a silly question but I'm new to this!

I do not think black pepper is raw. Though, I do know some people use non raw spices in their uncooking.
