GET THIS....I was over @ my sister's last night & was telling her & my cousin this awesome story about eating raw: (as many have probably read) All my body wanted for about 1 month is fruit, so that's all I gave it. Well I know fruit is very cleansing to the body & I noticed that on the back of my upper thigh (close to my butt) I used to get little red bumps & just the other day I realized they were gone! I think my body was really cleansing, hence all the fruit it was craving!
AND....just recently I added my green smoothies, my body started craving them & that very day after I had my first one I noticed I got light-headed after I got up from sitting....lower iron!
So I was sooooo amazed @ how my body new it wanted the iron in the greens & was craving them before I had the symptom, it was just time & how my skin cleared after a while of eating fruit!!!!
Well my sister & cousin are like....you're a little "too" in tune with your body, it's kinda weird! It didn't bother me cause I was so excited, just kinda funny how some people may never get it!

Yeah.. like having too much fun. If they don't have it; they don't get it.

I think that's awesome you are in tune with your body!!!!
I'm still battling sad food cravings and can't find that little raw voice that says "eat an apple not bread" :) lol... I'll get there though!
But anyway, Yay for you!

You'll get there for sure! How long have you been raw?

Sounds very familiar. :)
Great isn't it!
Not sure if you can be 'too' in tune with your body, sounds a lot like being 'too healthy' no such thing!

It is wonderful!!! I see all these connections between the mind & the body & the more my body reveals the more it amazes me & I don't wanna be anything but 100% raw because of it!
I think it is wonderful that you know what your body needs. It is also great that you "listen" to your body and give it what it wants. I have noticed that many people who do not understand the lifestyle tend to resist any benefits it produces. It sounds like you have a healthy attitude towards the situation.:)

Thanks! It took a little bit to get here! HAHA Before I would have just eaten what my mind wanted rather than what my body wanted! It's all just confirmation when I listen to it & it eventually shows me why it wanted certain things. It's definetly inspiration to keep eating raw!:)

On and off for a couple years but now I stay around 90%, some days 100%, I don't stress too much about it, but I'm realizing more and more that giving in to my cravings for sad foods just doesn't agree with me.

that's great you're so in tune!
I got the same flack from my mom. she had just bought a new elliptical exercise machine and after being on it for 10 minutes my back started to hurt, so I stopped. My mother was mad I wasn't going to use it and said I was too sensitive to my body. Turns out I actually had a misaligned pelvis, which was causing the pain

Being in tune with your body is so great! Congratulations for feeling it! Its funny how it seems to not be the norm to understand our bodies when if we just fed them naturally and avoided environmental toxins our body would tell us what it wants! The two stories you mentioned are great inspiration, thank you for sharing with us :)

Stay "in tune" because if you were to become "out of tune" (e.g health issues due to weight gain, etc.) then they will have something to say about that.

I love that you are so in tune with your body. My hubby gets kind of wierd about it once in a while. He thinks that I am "experimenting" on myself. ???Then I ask him if he likes me better as a person on raw or a person who eats SAD. Raw always wins. I have to admit....I had a full time pass on the crazy train when I ate SAD. Rawk on girl!!
