guess what was in my mailbox today?

Yup, THE book. WHen you guys said it was a book, I was expecting a recipe book with pictures. This thing is like a textbook! That, of course, is great for me because I feel like I got my money's worth. I got the DVDs, too, so I will watch them this weekend and over and over, I am sure.

SO, yeah, fruit flies and a "Living on Live Food" book must mean I am finally part of the club, huh?

Just put some grapes in snack baggies to freeze. Kale is looming on the horizon when I am not so tired to prep it for tomorrow.

how fun!
i love the pictures in the book

for fruit flies, if they bother you, try soaking your fruit (mainly bananas) in some water for a few hours. it won't ruin the bananas, but it will help with a fly problem

Nah. it doesn't bother me. I keep a glass of vinegar on the counter and that takes care of them.

Can't wait to start reading :D

After you soak the bananas, you just let them dry and leave them out again?

yeah. i just soak them in a big bowl for a while then take em out and put them in a regular fruit bowl, or on the stove top wherever :)

I'll do that with the next batch this weekend. Thanks!
