Hello my name is VeraRaw (Vera) once a year for an entire month I do the Daniel Fast for spiritual purposes and I noticed that I began to feel so much better in my body. Tiredness and sluggishness disappeared. Around week two I noticed that BM had less of an odor. I am sorry I am sure that was TMI but for me it is the truth. LOL!!
You may ask, how come I did not continue to eat this or adapt this as a lifestyle? It is because I only considered this as a spiritual thing. It is also sad to say that I am/was such a carnivore that it never crossed my mind as a lifestyle, but change is coming! LOL!!
On April 1st I plan on adapting this lifestyle on a 90 day trial and talking about the changes in my body on my. I only plan on eating flesh (chicken & fish) for one of my meals daily and trying to cut down on cooking my vegetables which is going to be hard for me. The goal is to see if I can eventually eat a 75 -80% raw diet. Hopefully this can become a permanent lifestyle. Let the journey begin! I need all the help I can get. I am open to suggestions. I hope to hear from you all soon. Thanks VeraRaw :)

Why do you plan on eating flesh. Do you not care about your health. Have you read The China Study.

Hi Veraraw,
welcome to the forum!
It often takes time for us to make the connection between eating well and feeling well. Something that seems so obvious seems to be lost in the 'white noise' of modern life. You aren't alone in taking a long time to realise this. :)
Good on you for making the transition, do it with joy and a sense of adventure and don't beat yourself up too much if you don't make the transition as quick or as neatly as you've planned, sometimes life has other plans. :D
We are here to help, so please ask if you need any.
Good luck!

Hi. Yes I absolutely care about my health! That’s why I am here to gain knowledge and inspiration. Right now this is just were I happen to be on this journey I plan on taking this one day at a time and keeping it real at all times.
No, I have not read or heard of The China Study, but I will definitely look into it; see I’ve learned something new already. :) Thanks so much for sharing!! Peace and blessings. Take care.
