Id like to start a post where everyone can share any new fruit theyve come across that theyve never seen or heard of before. Today I found a red tamarillo. It looks like a pepper shaped red plum. Havent ate it yet but when I do I will repost and tell you what it tastes like.

Also if anyone could link any good sites where they buy premade raw food (especially olives) and teflex sheets

also those of you who dont use laundry detergent and use other things in place of that I have an idea for the dryer sheets... anything of similar material to the dryer sheets...felt or and type of fabric with theyre favorite scent/oil sprayed on the fabric...This would be in place for the smell of the dryer sheet not the static electricity part.

Ok, I did not care for it at all. Its kind of like a cross between a plum and a tomato

It sounds lame, but my favorite new food piece is the very ripe tomatillo - similar to your tomarillo, I guess.

I made a salad dressing out of the tomatillo because I'd no tomatoes left, and I was very pleased with them. I'd eaten them before, just not on purpose, and I didn't remember the taste. Now I like them.

Laundry/haircare/body care products:
I have two local coop suppliers for that, but I have been looking since we're in the long process of turning out all of the chemically based stuff into organic:

http://nancysnatural.expage.com/id2.html of course, you could always just make your own!

well, there's so much more out there, but these are the ones I was able to get through this late.

Anyway - I've had a great response in our house to Seventh Generation - just something I picked up at the health grocers because my daughter cannot tolerate chemical cleaners at all anymore. I thought, honestly, it worked better on my kitchen tile floor than anything else I've used!

I wonder what something with an essential oil would do... have to try that.

Star fruit is one of the best fruits eaten straight without peeling or slicing, you just pick it up and eat it. It is very good. It taste kind of like a sweet white grape, but with a tropical flare to it.

My newest fruit find is a cherimoya. It's delicious.
