View Full Version : Puffy, bloated face?? Vitamin or food recommendation?

I am concerned because I have noticed that my face has become quite bloated and puffy looking. I have also noticed that I seem to get dark undereye circles much easier. I had my thyroid tested about 5 months ago and it came back fine. I read online that it could be due to a nutritional deficiency...does anyone here take a multivitamin or mutli-product they could recommend? I never know what brand to use. Is there anything else I should be doing?? I'm at a loss.

are you drinking enough water? What is your diet like?

Research thyroid tests further - you may not have gotten an accurate test. Was it saliva? Blood?
Look up Kidney meridian deficiency - dark circles are a classic sign.
How are you handling stress? Are your adrenals shot?
Are you sleeping? Do you wake up refreshed?
You'd need to provide an idea of what you are eating to see if there is something lacking. B Vitamins, perhaps? Are you getting enough and rotating greens on a daily basis?

Hi! Thank you for your responses. I have been lazy about my water consumption lately, so I suppose that could be a contributor, and yes I am VERY stressed, so I suppose my adrenals could be worn out. I saw a natural raw thyroid and raw adrenal product from a line called Natural Sources that has postive reviews online. I am high raw, but not all raw. I usually have some bananas and nuts for breakfast, a green smoothie at some point in the day, salad or vegetable entree for my other meal...and sometimes fish. Flax seed crackers and guac are also staples. Apples too.
