Hi Folks,
One more question about dehydration.
As a general rule how long do you expect things that you dehydrate to last?
I know it depends on a lot of factors, but am just looking for general experience here, no hard and fast rules.
We are keeping everything in glass containers in the refrigerator if that helps you answer the question.
Thanks,
Mark

hehehe. cute.
I make smaller batches. My hubby is not a raw foodie. (although I am getting him to lean my way a little more these days) So its just for me. I try to use up anything I make within 3 to 4 days.

Thanks folks. I am also finding that the food tastes so good that it isn't lasting for more than a few days. I have a home office and am somewhat of a grazer, nibbling away all day, so the food can disappear rather quickly.

My flatbread lasts a couple of weeks at least, and I don't refrigerate it. I dry it very dry, though. Crunchy. Like crackers.
I just polished off some flax crackers yesterday that I made over 3 weeks ago. I kept them in the cupboard because they were completely dried. They tasted great.
When I make Famous Onion Bread - I freeze it and it thaws beautifully.
I've got dehydrated fruit in my fridge that's over a year old... *Ü*
