View Full Version : Getting back to Raw
04-16-2010, 08:40 PM
Hello! I started my raw journey back in December of 2008 & rawked it until I had to move for a new job that requires lots of travel in July of 2009. I have found myself using cooked food as an emotional crutch & overeat while always saying "tomorrow I'll be all raw again" & then fall into the same trap. Although I do still always have green smoothies for breakfasts & salads for lunch..the evenings are where I struggle. Tomorrow, I WILL be all raw again. I am going to post on here, start blogging & reach out to this great community! I deserve to feel good & take care of myself again. I'm looking forward to being a source of support for others too - thank you raw food talk for being here!

Welcome! I don't think that anyone can say at one point in time they haven't messed up and ate cooked food. You have a ton of support here!

Well, so glad you posted. I am in a similar boat as you. I have been working at being raw for over 2 years and every winter I don't seem to be able to stick to it. I want to feel good again, myself. I want control back, too. Maybe we can help each other. ;)
How are you doing, btw?
