friut/veggie arrangements

anyone make these? I want to make one for a celebration in a few weeks. Would love some suggestions..simple for veggie/fruit. Also & mainly...how many days in advance can I make this. I do not want to do it the day of celebration if possible except for strawberries. I want to enjoy the day, not work is so much. thanks.!!!!

I do!!! Here is what I do, it looks A LOT fancier than it is, I find a basket for a reasonable price, place floral foam (big green chunks) in the bottom, cover with a fancy lettuce, then I cut and cover wood skewers with green onions, place cut veggies on the end and stick the skewers into the foam, the picture below isn't that great but will give you a general idea...(please excuse the breadsticks.. they were for the non raw crowd!!)

I use peppers for dips.. if you cut radishes on the sides and place them in ice water they will bloom like flowers.. tooth picks work better for asparagus... I get more creative everytime I make one..

Margoss: I forgot your question about how far in advance you can make these, I always do it the day of, but if you prepped everything the day before and assembled the basked that day, everything should be fine... I've never tried doing it the day before so I can't say what the results might be... GOOD LUCK!!!!
