Hi all! I am new to this site but started taking raw food classes about 6 months ago. I now have my Level 1 Chef Certification and am looking forward to continuing the journey.

I, like most, first became interested in raw for the healthy aspect, but what really triggered the change in lifestyle is preparation over cooking. I don't like to cook, nor was I never good at it, so raw food prep is a blessing. All the health benefits that come with it is just an awesome bi-product. I look forward to networking and sharing stories of our journeys!

Welcome Jennifer. I never liked cooking either and rarely did it. I love making simple raw foods. So much more fun and delicious. :)

ram- I WISH I was in the LA area (maybe). Although, with Cleveland not being a healthy market, there's a lot of work to be done here.

Mary Kay- I take raw classes in the southwest area of Cleveland (Strongsville/Middleburg Hts). Is that what you mean by meet-ups? Or are you speaking of pot lucks?

Question to you all- Is there a way for me to be notified by email everytime I get a response to a post?
