Hi,
I'm new to the forum but i'm really looking forward to learning from you all and being inspired and comforted. Being at day 11, I'm new to the raw lifestyle. It's been difficult but I can see the health benefits that I've read about becoming a reality for me. I have had bouts of energy I haven't had for years and aches and pains starting to subside (I'm 41). I've had periods of nauseau and headaches as well. I went from eating an 80% vegetarian diet to going 100% raw overnight. Yesterday (day 10) I woke up feeling dizzy/light headed and nauseaus. It has gone away a lot today (day 11) but still lingering. Aside from that, I feel great (I know that sounds nuts but I really do). I was wondering if anyone has experienced a similiar pattern of detox and if there is any food I should be focussing on to help with it. I'm sorry if this question has been asked and answered 100 times. I spent some time reading before asking so I wouldn't bother anyone but I couldn't find an answer.
Thanks for your help and for allowing me to join.

do you think that you are eating enough?

Thank you so much for responding. I think so. I'm having a good balance of greens, fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains. It was a little concerning yesterday but I was still able to eat :) The dizziness and nausea is definitely better today. I'm sticking with it though - I feel like this is how I am meant to eat (sick feeling aside)

I know what you mean. There are just some rough moments on the journey. But for me...I always feel better on raw, even when I feel bad. Glad to hear that you are sticking with it. Feel better soon!!!!

Especially for beginners I would recommend just to eat your absolute favourite fruits and veggies it makes the transition easier and after a few days more add others to your diet.
