View Full Version : April 10th-Day 10
Hi, I'm doing well. Carrying around lots of fruit today as I wasn't able to uncook, again (still have yummy stuff to make in the refrigerator). This evening I'll be able to get some things started. I have some sesame seeds soaking so I can make nmy dressing to go on the kale for kale chips. Man, those are divine and the cruch factor is great! I'm also going to make tabouli with cauliflower vs almond flour. I have some zucchini to spiralize and make some sort of dressing for that too, so I definitely have some things in mind to uncook! Have a great day all! :D

I can't remember if I posted this on this forum but I did post it as a thread...this is interesting....I haven't eaten any green foods in over 2wks & my bm's are coming out green! All this fruit must be pulling out old stuff! GOTTA LOVE RAW & what our bodies tell us to eat ;)

joya - your juice with sweet potato sounds like something I'd like to try!
B. Smoothie: bananas, juice of 2 grapefruits, 3 stalks celery, 1/2 cuke and a pkg of stevia.
L. a bit of guacamole with my dehydrated crackers (rosemary is in them - they are now getting too strong in flavor for my liking, or I must get another kind of dip made to go with them)
Snack: mouthful of hemp seeds
S. smoothie: frozen baby coconut meat, 2 bananas, strawberries and some agave, water

Woo... I am beat!
Aspirant, my mom and I climbed a little mountain here in woodstock today. 5 miles with half up a pretty steep incline has me just about tuckered.
I finally did get to have that meatloaf though. It was ready for dinner by the time we got home so we had that with the BBQ sauce and the mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. Not wild about the cauliflower masquerading with cashews as potatoes or the gravy but the meatloaf was pretty good. I was starving by the time we ate so even the dog's kibble might have tasted good at that point. Ill have to taste the leftovers tomorrow to judge for sure.
I started making a spreadsheet with prep times for various dishes we know we like to make planning easier.
I have a whole list of things to try and make over the next few days including the cinnamon rolls and eggplant bacon. So far my favorite food is chocolate coconut shakes. I could live on them.

I ate raw cheesecake all day today. Ok so I ate a mango for breakfast but after that cheesecake and then I made a raw lasagna for dinner. The cheese didn't come out to great but the pesto and sauce were great!
I felt stuffed and a bit uncomfortable for the first time while eating raw since I started about 5 weeks ago. I think the food combining thing applies to me, especially when it comes to foods high in sugar. I just can't add fruit to anything else.
