I know this must just be detox, but since last night I have felt like crud.
It started at the base of my neck, moved to my shoulders, then down my spine. It hurts in all those areas, plus a headache and on and off nausea ALL day long. I feel like I've been hit with something in the back of my head.
I have an electric massager and used that and it hurt me so bad, but felt good at the same time.
I was for sure I was going to puke last night and this afternoon.
Help me stay on my 30 day challenge!
Could it be detox, or do we give detox too much credit? Not sure. It just seems like I've had more bad/down days than good/up days lately.
Thanks!

Pam - how long has it been?
If it's a regular kind of detox, you should feel better within 3 days. If you are coming down with some kind of virus, you may be sick for longer.
Try taking a hot bath with some epsom salt to pull it out of your pores.
Also try sleeping A LOT. I mean go to bed early, wake up late, take naps. Our bodies heal and rebuild in our sleep.
Hope you feel better.

How long have I been sick or how long have I been raw?
I'll just answer both questions.
I have been all raw since the 1st of this month.
I've been sick like this really bad since last night. But, I don't go more than a few days without feeling very very tired or just down in the dumps.
I fall alseep all the time in church.
But, I also have a one year old nursling that likes to nurse every 3 hours at night.
Last night was the first night in a long time that he slept through the night!
Anyways, I sure hope it goes soon.
I did get a short nap in today and do need to take a hot bath to just relax my muscles.

Oh - tee hee - I was meaning how long you've been raw but it's good to know the other too.
Sounds like your body is screaming for sleep. When the baby takes a nap, maybe you should too?

I personally think that anytime the body has symptoms it's cleansing/clearing, detoxing or indicating that something is not right within (but the symptom is usually the cure...the body's way of dealing with it).
Best thing to do is to try and eat as minimally as possible...sticking with light, juicy fruits and as Sharon said REST as much as you possibly can!
I was feeling pretty yucky a couple of days ago but I ate very little, tried staying away from fats and rested and drank some detox tea. I was good to go the next day! Same with my kids. My oldest son usually gets sick and it lasts for DAYS. But I finally convinced him to try not eating or eating very lightly and only fruit and he did and the next day he was good as new.
The less your body has to deal with in terms of digesting, the better it can deal with healing and cleansing.
Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks, I'll try doing that. I'm craving pineapple right now, but that's so acidic.
I am also resisting the VERY strong urge to have something cooked.
If I just get over this, I'll be fine.
I get a chance to rest tonight while the kids go to church.
I am going to skip and just stay home and relax as much as I can with my 1 year all over the place!
I started having sharp pains in my stomach, it happened twice.
Oh, I really hope this passes soon.
As soon as the kids get home, I'm going to get the baby to bed and off to bed myself.

I have to agree with the others...sleep, sleep, sleep. Especially with a little baby!
