Here is my first attempt to prepare >>hot and spicy "eGGs"<<. They came out nice and yummie. I ate about 10 today.

eGGs = Champignons
filling = Cashews (next times I will use sunflowerseeds, cashews are too sweet), lemon, mustard, curry, garlic, wasabi, pepper, tumeric, acv

... fill ... garnish ... ready :p

Sounds great....do you have a recipe with proportions?

Katharina: Great recipe - I didn't even like eggs on a SAD diet, but these actually look good!:)
Curious - did you grate a real wasabi, or just use the powder? I'd love to find an actual wasabi sometime (admittedly, I haven't looked too hard, as I tend to lean on jalapenos when I want heat.)

Hello, thank you so much for your comments.

Sorry for the champignos/mushrooms mystery, thought the word exists in english, too. As I am from Germany, my english will be a little bit strange sometimes.

Recipe
made in my Vitamix (Did you know that you guys:eek: here on rawfoodtalk made me buy a VM??)

about 1,5 cups soaked cashews (sunflowerseeds)
juice of one lemon
half a cup of water
1 TbSp ACV
Tumeric for yellow color and health;)
as you like: garlic, mustard, wasabi, curry, ...

Decorated with mini-tomatoes and chives

I used all of those spices, because the cashews tasted so sweet. I thought I will not be able to eat a sweet topping on top of a mushroom. So I put in everything to make it spicy/savoury.

It was a very "attractive" great filling. It combines perfectly with salads, too.

Next time I will try it with sunflower seeds. Maybe then it will not be necessary to put in all those spices just one or two.

I used wasabi powder. Do not know the original thing. Only once I had some "german wasabi" aka horseradish in my weekly "eco bag". This was so hot :D it made me cry.

have a nice Day
