Other tastes that work well:

I love this recipe from Anna's The Raw Table
Cranberry Almond Slaw
Sweet, tangy, and crunchy. It's all in there!
Serves 4
Ingredients:
1/4 of a green cabbage, chopped
1 cup cilantro
1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
1 large carrot, chopped
1/4 C almonds
1/3 C dried cranberries
Juice of 1 lime
2 T. flax oil
2 T. agave nectar
2 T. red onion, minced
1 large avocado, cut into bite-sized pieces
Preparation:
Place all ingredients, except for the avocado, into a large food processor and pulse-chop until everything is cut up to desired size. Pour out into serving bowl and garnish with avocados.
I've made it many times and left the avocado out and it is great that way too~

Alissa has a wonderful cole slaw in her book. Couldn't be easier and it's delicious. It's called Easy Slaw and it's on pg 458. I hope you try it.

1/4 head of green cabbage, sliced thin
1 good sized carrot, grated
olive oil and apple cider vinegar to taste
also good with sea salt and freshly ground pepper
jazzed it up with raw walnut pieces, also with sun dried raisins.
took the cake when I added all of the above (except salt & pepper) and a very generous shaking of cinnamon over all. quite tasty.
seems to be a very forgiving dish. get your grove on and experiment some to find your very own fav!
