Does anyone else have this/have OCD-tendencies, and if so, has going raw helped you deal with anxiety?

I have major OCD-issues surrounding food-for instance- i feel like i HAVE to eat perfectly or else something "bad" will happen, and i either have to eat perfectly raw, or go in the complete opposite direction and do this weird binge-behavior where I force myself to eat a certain amount of food (again because I have these irrational thoughts that "something bad will happen" if i don't).

Any advice and/or personal stories are welcome.

I can tell you that eating raw has helped my emotional state. I used to suffer from depression, anxiety, ocd tendencies. This way of eating is what keeps me sane. It has changed my brain. Trust in the process. In my opinion, sad food is poison for the brain. Now, I am a well balanced and happy person. Hang in there. This is a great gift you can give to yourself.

There are many effective treatments for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), ranging from therapy to self-help and medication. However, the treatment for OCD with the most research supporting its effectiveness is cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Cognitive-behavioral therapy for obsessive-compulsive disorder involves two components:

*Exposure and response prevention
*Cognitive therapy
