View Full Version : Please take me back...
Although I have been reading a few posts maybe once a week, I have not posted much in the last 8 months. The reasons I haven't been posted are I have been going back and forth on raw, I feel gulity, and a lack of time.
With that said, I am finally ready to come back full force and hope that I have a place to come back to. For those who have been on-going longer than 8 months now, you are very inspiring to me and give me hope that I can succeed at this.
To help jump start myself off on the right foot, I am doing a 21 day juice fast that I started today. I am committing to each of you that I will complete the 21 days at all cost. I will post my accomplishment daily, excluding weekends. The only thing I ask of you is to allow me to bore you each day with a simple "completed X days of fasting post.

First, don't feel guilty, feel inspired, as you are.
We totally accept you back, and know that eating raw is not a perfection, it is a process.
We all have been where you are, I don't know of anyone, who went 100% raw and stayed there without one slip up, not anyone.
I have gone raw 3 major times, plus about a million tiny times, where I didnt' even last the whole day, but here I am at 27 days 100% raw again.
So, do your best, that's all you can do, keep posting on this board, ask lots of questions, let us know how you are feeling, and keep us posted.
We do care, and we're all in there with you.

Star, I remember you. Welcome back! (((hug)))
As always we would love to support you here. Remember, as Alissa says, it's about persistence, not perfection.
3 cheers for you for your persistence!
I will look forward to hearing about your experiences during your juice fast.
Many warm blessings on your journey to health!
You guys really do Rawk. Those 2 replies along give me so much inspiration.
Sweetgoddess that hug felt great.
Rawpriestess thanks for sharing your personal experiences. It's not that I like to see anyone experience downs but it helps me to see that others have been where I am and because you didn't give up, you are now where you are, which is where I want to be. How's that for a mouth full ....(of juice that is :D )

Well, Star, it's nice to meet you! I'm new here, and made it just about a month ago 27 days raw. I thought my little slip would be 1 meal, but it lasted about 3 weeks. I've been mostly raw, but not the great 100%. Today actually, has been my first full day raw again! I'm here with ya, cheering us both on!!! RAW, RAW, RAW!!! (can't ya just see the pom poms and cheerleaders!)
I'm not looking back....progress, not perfection! :D

It wasn't that long ago that I thought about you and wondered where you went. So glad you are back and ready to continue your journey to all raw!!!!
Do note. It is not unusual for people to go back and forth. So don't leave the boards just because you feel you have to be 100% all the time. I'm glad you continued to read even though you didn't post. I'm sure it helped in getting you to this point where you're ready to jump in with both feet.
Since you are juice fasting, I hope you will post over on the journal area. I'll check over there occasionally and see if you are posting and see how your juice fast is going!!!!
Welcome back Star!!!

Well, I'll juice fast with you tomorrow!! I mess up too........its the breads. I go a week and then I lose it. As soon as I have down time, I start to think of my cravings. I need a raw bagel recipe. Raw is a process. There isn't much perfection in the beginning for most of us. It takes time and commitment. Its when we give up that theres a problem. Measure your sucesses on your progress intead!!
Thanks again everyone for all of the support. I am going to be posting my fasting progress in the fasting forum but of course I am going to post here too.
