This will be my first ever and I would like to make it to this sunday in the least , but is my main goal . I have never been able to even think about doing a fast without immedaitly going to the fridge for solid food . Would anyone like to join me ? It would really help me out . Thank you in advance .
My breakfast was a gs made of broccilli , one apple , one carrot, lots of spinach , one tomatoe , mixed greens , and some salt . I found it a little too sweet for me but I know that I must put in the fruit , so that I still get those benifits . Lunch will be the same I had extra .

Sounds like an energizing breakfast mix! I would love to buddy up for a cleanse - am returning to raw again (ever evolving journey...) & will definitely benefit from a smoothie supercharge.
I'm no expert at this but would say if it's too sweet, leave out the fruit - it will balance up during the day. Personally, I'll probably alternate between sweet blends w. fruit & leafy greens & savoury raw soup blends without fruits.

I am so glad that you are doing this with me !! Today is shopping day and dear hubby brought home all the solid goodies that I love so , its going to be hard . I am drinking water inbetween smoothies and that does help . I also have to prepare the raw easter candy for the kiddos . A friend of mine thought that would be better for her kids instead of store bought candy . Her family is a meat and tatters family .
I am about to make my dinner gs . I think I will use the same smoothie as this morning . :D

Well easter candy has been made and alas I taste tested everything .:( I did make another smoothie and it was horrible !! I put coconut in it and I think that was the bad part . Well here in a little bit I will try again . I think I will stick with the first gs I made . I am glad the candy was raw candy . So not too bad .

Just my 2 cents. Try making simpler smoothies. 1 or 2 fruits, greens, and water. I find that the more I put in them...the more unpleasant the taste. Simple is good and a lot easier. This morning I made a strawberry (tops on) and parsley. Good luck on your journey.:)

Awesome that you are doing a gs fast.
I agree with Cathy A -- keep your smoothies simple. My basic smoothie is spinach, apple, frozen banana, 1 cup water. Most times I'm able to add kale and/or romaine, pineapple and sometimes grapes. I love the emerald green color of smoothies ... which changes drastically when I add black or red grapes -- a fun change now and then.
and you've made an important discovery -- you don't like coconut in your smoothies! lol. Relax and have fun with it -- Sounds like you are definitely on the right track intermixing the water. If you don't like your smoothies sweet, then add more green, and less fruit proportionately.
Looking forward to hearing how it goes.

Great that you keep the green spirit up in spite of concoction challenges! Lots of good advice here & I'm sure your experimentation will yield some tasty emeralds! :)
I've made banana / spinach / stevia / water + an applesauce w. spinach. Today will be banana/sunflowersprouts + a soup of whatever's in the fridge. I recently dropped coffee, but no cravings or headaches so far!
